Artworks and Collectibles

Yardley Farms and Hacienda Apostol are home to collections of art, books and other collectibles including coins and paper money. The MAK Foundation fine art collection has a current market value of well over $500 million.

There is also a collection of family heirlooms from both Russian and British ancestry as well as a series of items relative to the life of the Lord of Yardley kept on display.

BOOKS - The largest collection of written works by Sir Thomas Henry Hall Caine KBE with over 300 volumes. The collection includes original manuscripts, newspaper and magazine prints, theater posters, cigarrette cards, photographs and nearly all editions of his novels and plays.
ORIGINAL PAINTINGS - A complete collection of all the known works of art produced by Mary Cicely Hall Caine including her painting done for the inaugural sailing of the QE1 ship in 1936 and her drawing prepared for the Ronald Reagan official portrait. Ms. Hall Caine painted horses and was featured on a book dust jacket in England in 1937. In addition, there are numerous works of art by famous artists from around the world including Matisse, Degas, Homer, Dali, Picasso, Cezanne, Warhol, Kline, Pollack, Twombly, Thiebaud and a dozen lesser known modern era artists including several from Latin America.
PAPER CURRENCY - Primarily US Paper currrency from Revolutionary War period to current times. Includes Gold certificates, silver certificates, pre and post-war Federal Reserve Notes up to $10,000 bill. There is also a complete collection of Confederate States of America currency.
COINS - Coins from Roman and Greek times, Byzantine and Mesopotanian era as well as complete US coins from early 1800s to present day. Both Gold and silver as well as copper and other materials are represented.
STATUES, MODELS,CARVINGS - Museum quality ship models as well as carvings in wood, stone and other materials. There is a Bronze bust of the Lord of Yardley and various outdoor sculptures on the grounds.
