The automobile is a Rolls Royce chassis with a manual 4 speed transmission and a 4,257 cc in-line 6 cylinder engine. The coachworks was originally produced by H.J.Mulliner in 1938 under job number 4702 but remained unsold at the commencement of WWII. After the war, the body was sold to Cooper Coachworks on 31 March 1947 and the finished automobile was delivered on 24 June 1947. The car is now equipped with a 12 volt negative ground system and a dual zone Air Conditioning System by Classic Air of Tampa, Florida. The rear cabin has a refreshment center and a glass divider as well as a remote control for the digital stereo system. There are 2 P-100 headlamps and a center fog lamp on the front and the huge Rolls Royce grill is topped by a rare example of the "kneeling lady" in contrast to the more common "flying lady". Before being imported to the United States in 1980, the car spent nearly 20 years in Saudi Arabia serving a senior officer of the Arabian American Petroleum Company (Aramco), James W. Rhea who had moved there in 1958 with his wife Ann (formerly Rhea of Connecticut). She drove the car all over the southern United States before finally parting with it in December 2003. The new owner, Sohrab (Robert) M. Oskouei, paid her $20,750 and included it in his charter limousine service (Atlantic Limousine Inc.). The car was used for weddings and other special activities. On December 23, 2016 he sold the car to the current owner for $27,500 after doing considerable restoration.
